280 Series Passive Welding Helmet - 2" x 4.25" Viewing Area Lift Front - Silver | Sellstrom
The Sellstrom® 280 Series "bucket style" passive welding helmet is designed for industrial pipeline and confined space welding applications. The durable and lightweight helmet is made from nylon thermoplastic and features a 2" x 4 1/4" lift front passive welding filter. The 280 Series can be configured with a headgear or a hard hat adapter and provides additional clearance in the chin cup to accommodate a respirator.
- Design: Traditional "Bucket Style" design in this Pipeliner Welding Helmet is a legacy in the market; It comes inclusive of an extended head protection and chin guard which provides complete wraparound protection against welding spatter
- Material: Molded from Super Tuff Nylon which is lighter than fiberglass & extremely durable; The lightweight design comes assembled with a ratchet headgear and forehead band that can be tailored to fit personal preferences & comfort settings
- Front Lift: The 2" x 4 1/4" lift front comes with a spring-loaded positive lock feature; The helmet is ideal for all welding applications and uses standard size filter and cover plate (sold separately)
- Certification: This product meets ANSI Z87.1 Standards and is CUL Certified to CAN/CSA Z94.3
- Specially designed shape for use with cartridge respirators
